Orthopedics Service Coordinator/Registered Nurse - OR - F/T Days Responsible for all aspects of patient care from pre-procedure through post-procedure phase. Responsibilities Acts as a Preceptor for new staff members, supporting training and facilitating onboarding. Functions as scrub or circulator in the OR, maintaining up-to-date preference cards and reviewing with physicians. Reviews and monitors environmental surveillance, sterilization logs, and waste disposal to ensure compliance. Establishes and maintains inventory control for supplies, ensuring availability and functionality. Provides quality perioperative patient care, performing assessments and documentation according to standards. Maintains a safe environment adhering to safety principles and aseptic techniques. Leads room turnover procedures, ensuring quick and efficient utilization of OR areas. Manages recruitment, development, and supervision of team members, fostering engagement and performance evaluation. Participates in financial management, monitoring budgets and performance metrics. Tracks and reports data, recommending process improvements. Performs other duties and projects as assigned, including administrative call rotation. Qualifications BSN within three years of employment. Minimum 5 years OR experience, with teaching experience preferred. Ability to work as part of a team with scrub and circulator skills, and excellent communication skills. Licenses and Certifications NJ Licensed Registered Nurse Starting annual salary: $106,329.60.
