Payroll Administrator

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our Administration team. This role is responsible for processing bi-weekly payroll, maintaining payroll records, and providing administrative support to the Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience working with confidential information, and proficiency in payroll and HR-related systems. Location: Elizabethtown, PA Pay Range: $24.00 - $26.50 per hour This position is temporary until April

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Administration

• Process bi-weekly payroll, including timesheets, incentives, bonuses, commissions, and other compensation or deductions.
• Enter and maintain payroll information using payroll software, including ADP.
• Process monthly sales commissions and incentive payments.
• Assist with payroll voucher downloads.
• Process special payroll runs, including fiscal year-end bonuses and other supplemental payrolls.
• Distribute payroll-related reports, including:
• General ledger reports for Accounting
• 401(k) reports for plan administrators
• Monthly employee count reports for management

Human Resources Support

• Maintain employee files and records within the ADP system.
• Prepare onboarding packets for new hires.
• Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Support HR with filing, recordkeeping, organization, and administrative tasks.
• Build and maintain employee tracking spreadsheets, including vacation and census records.
• Assist with gathering and preparing payroll and HR information for annual audits.
• Enter employee insurance benefit enrollments into ADP.

Additional Duties

• Maintain complete confidentiality of all employee and payroll information.
• Collaborate with internal departments and international partners regarding expatriate employee payroll matters.
• Serve as backup support for reception/switchboard duties when needed.
• Serve as backup support for mailroom operations when needed.
• Contribute as an active and positive team member.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred

• Previous payroll and/or Human Resources experience.
• Experience working with ADP payroll systems.
• Familiarity with payroll reporting, employee records management, and benefits administration.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods (7+ hours per day).
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds, including mail bins and bulk mailing sacks.
