Physical Therapist - Inpatient

Role Provides physical therapy assessments and treatments for patients with movement dysfunction and pain due to injury, disease, or disability. Responsibilities Performs initial and ongoing evaluations, develops and adjusts individualized care plans, executes therapy interventions, educates patients and families, collaborates on discharge planning, supervises support staff, maintains documentation, and ensures safety. Qualifications Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy and licensure in applicable states (Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, Wisconsin). No prior experience required. Must have BLS certification within 90 days of employment. Physical Demands Constant standing, frequent lifting (0-25 lbs), walking, reaching, and data entry; occasional bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and patient movement. Key Skills Excellent communication, assessment, patient education, supervision, and documentation skills. Ability to work safely and effectively in a clinical setting.
