Scheduling Supervisor

Overview Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Scheduling Supervisor to lead a high-volume centralized scheduling team. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily scheduling operations, driving team performance, improving patient access, and ensuring an exceptional patient experience across multiple service lines and locations. The ideal candidate is a people-focused leader who thrives on developing teams, improving processes, and using data to drive operational excellence. This role requires healthcare industry experience and a strong understanding of patient scheduling workflows, insurance requirements, and healthcare compliance standards. Responsibilities Lead and develop a high-performing team of 15+ scheduling professionals and team leads Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and exceptional customer service Conduct performance evaluations, provide ongoing feedback, and create development opportunities for team members Partner with leadership to recruit, interview, onboard, and retain top talent Drive Operational Excellence Oversee daily scheduling operations to ensure timely and accurate appointment scheduling Monitor key performance indicators including call volume, response times, service levels, productivity, and customer satisfaction metrics Analyze operational data and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, patient access, and team performance Develop and implement process improvements to enhance scheduling workflows and reduce barriers to care Support Patient Access and Service Delivery Ensure scheduling practices align with organizational standards, provider requirements, and patient care needs Maintain compliance with HIPAA, payer guidelines, and organizational policies related to patient information and scheduling processes Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and operational teams to support seamless patient experiences Assist with special projects, workflow initiatives, and departmental process improvements as needed Collaborate Across the Organization Serve as a key partner to department leadership in achieving operational goals Work closely with cross-functional teams to address scheduling challenges, optimize resources, and improve service delivery Participate in strategic initiatives focused on enhancing patient access, operational efficiency, and team effectiveness Required Qualifications 5+ years of healthcare industry experience 3+ years of leadership experience managing scheduling, patient access, customer service, call center, or healthcare operations teams Experience leading teams in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Strong understanding of healthcare scheduling processes, insurance verification requirements, and patient access workflows Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement operational improvements Excellent communication, coaching, and team development skills Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR/EMR) and scheduling systems Preferred Qualifications Experience supervising centralized scheduling, patient access, contact center, referral management, or healthcare operations teams Experience with Epic or other healthcare scheduling platforms Associate\'s or Bachelor\'s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Management, or a related field Experience supporting multi-site healthcare operations #J-18808-Ljbffr Accentuate Staffing
