Logistics Coordinator

Logistics Coordinator position in Auburn Hills, MI, $22.50/hr, day shift with optional overtime, leading to potential leadership role at a respected industrial company. HRU Tech Auburn Hills, MI Contract to hire Pay rate: $22.50/hr Day shift : 6am -2:30pm or 7am -3:30pm (OT optional throughout the week) may have some weekend work depending on workload. Looking to hire at end of assignment (being groomed for lead position) Responsibilities Note: This list of responsibilities is by no means inclusive; however, it is intended to be a guideline for activities. Perform validation on all incoming shipments to ensure provider’s paperwork matches the physical items received, as well as purchase order, and resolve discrepancies with Purchasing team. Verify quantity of items physically received matches purchase order, packing list, and supplier records. Schedule all order pick‑up and deliveries related to LTL freight and small parcel packages (i.e. FedEx/UPS). Adhere to all client shipping guidelines and standards including routing and packaging instructions. Coordinate with other functional areas and logistics team members to implement best practices, with the end goal of driving improved continuous material flow. Engage build team and engineers in Quality Control review on all incoming shipments. Demonstrate strong working relationships with internal and external customers, including coworkers, management, carriers, supply chain, and vendors. Deliver timely communications on exceptions or unforeseen changes in shipping, as well as shipment status, tracking information, insurance and claim detail. Represent a critical on‑site presence to internal customers and maintain a professional approach in all types of interactions. Ensure purchasing, receiving, and accounting related documentation is routed correctly and filed accurately and neatly. Process problem invoices through the enlighten platform. Initiate PRS process for all returns, including logging and tracking root‑cause reason codes. Work with Build team to develop and organize material and material storage areas throughout the building in support of the line‑side stocking program. Deliver materials to job shelves throughout the building to support line‑side stocking program; stage skids and other bulk material to plant locations based on point‑of‑use stocking program. Perform material “check‑in” process to indicate materials delivered to the build team. Efficiently load and unload all types of machinery and equipment from all types of trucks and trailers used by JR, customers, and suppliers. Track and manage fleet car sign‑out at each respective BU location. Perform any other tasks and work that Supervisor may assign from time to time. Qualifications 3+ years' experience in a business environment. Logistics, Material Management or Supply Chain experience preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience with Epicor ERP Systems or a similar platform. Proven ability to accept direction and complete tasks as assigned while working as part of a team or independently. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as required. Prior Hi‑Lo (Forklift) experience. High school diploma or equivalent certification required. #J-18808-Ljbffr HRU Tech
