Position Summary
Elevation Ability Services is a Facility School for students with severe behavior and developmental disabilities ages 6-13. We serve students from school districts in the Denver Metro and Front Range. We are looking for a full-time paraprofessional to work directly with students. We offer a positive, compassionate work environment that highly values teamwork, high quality intervention, and professional growth. What you will be doing:
- Provide direct instruction to students with disabilities
- Support students with personal and psychological issues that may impact academic performance, behavior, and socialization
- Communicate with colleagues, teachers, and related service providers
- Attend trainings and meetings regarding students
Who are we looking for:
- Those who have a passion for helping children with disabilities
- Those who are reliable, creative, and compassionate
- Required: 18+ years with GED or High school Diploma
- Preferred: Experience working with children with disabilities ages 6-13
