Account Manager - Employee Benefits

We are partnering with a growing insurance brokerage that is seeking an Employee Benefits Account Manager to join its expanding team. This individual will play a key role in servicing employer clients, managing day-to-day account needs, supporting renewals, and helping deliver exceptional client service across a broad range of employee benefits programs. The ideal candidate will have experience working within a brokerage environment and possess a strong understanding of employee benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, voluntary benefits, and various group health funding arrangements. This individual will play a key role in servicing employer clients, managing day-to-day account needs, supporting renewals, and helping deliver exceptional client service across a broad range of employee benefits programs. The ideal candidate will have experience working within a brokerage environment and possess a strong understanding of employee benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, voluntary benefits, and various group health funding arrangements. Key Responsibilities Manage an assigned book of employee benefits clients and serve as a primary point of contact for ongoing service needs. Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering proactive support and strategic guidance. Coordinate annual renewals, open enrollment activities, and benefit program implementations. Prepare renewal analyses, plan comparisons, presentations, and client-facing materials. Work closely with Account Executives, Producers, carriers, TPAs, and vendor partners to ensure seamless service delivery. Assist clients with eligibility, billing, claims resolution, vendor coordination, and plan administration issues. Support the marketing and placement of employee benefit programs. Maintain accurate client records, documentation, and activity within agency management systems. Stay informed on industry trends, carrier updates, and compliance considerations impacting employee benefit plans. Qualifications 3-5+ years of employee benefits account management, client service, or brokerage experience. Experience managing employer groups across a variety of industries and group sizes. Strong knowledge of: Fully Insured Plans Level-Funded Plans Self-Funded / Self-Insured Plans Familiarity with medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefit products. Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-management skills. Proven ability to manage multiple client priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and agency management or CRM platforms. Active Life & Health License preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
