Litigation Legal AssistantOur client, a well established boutique law firm in Plano, Texas, is adding a Litigation Legal Assistant to support two attorneys due to continued growth in litigation volume. This is a full time, 100% onsite direct hire opportunity working within a collaborative, long tenured team that values professionalism, initiative, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have litigation experience, enjoy working in a fast paced environment, and proactively seek opportunities to assist the team rather than waiting for direction.Established boutique law firm specializing in property tax litigationProvide administrative and litigation support to two attorneysCommunicate professionally with attorneys, clients, opposing counsel, mediators, and court personnelCoordinate settlement conferences, mediations, depositions, and other litigation eventsPrepare, file, and electronically file pleadings and legal documentsAssist with lawsuit filings, discovery, and litigation support throughout the life of a caseMaintain litigation calendars, docket control orders, and critical deadlinesPrepare correspondence and monthly matter status reportsAnswer incoming calls and provide general administrative supportInitially shadow and train under the firm's senior Legal Assistant before assuming additional responsibilitiesProactively assist other team members as workloads fluctuateRequired Prior Legal Assistant experienceLitigation experienceExperience managing litigation deadlines and calendarsStrong organizational and communication skillsDetail oriented with excellent follow throughAbility to work independently while remaining highly collaborativeComfortable working 100% onsitePreferred Experience coordinating discoveryExperience with electronic court filingsExperience supporting high volume litigation practicesProperty tax law experience is a plus but not required3 weeks PTO and Holiday PayHealth Benefits 80% paid401k with 5% matchCompany Events and Conferences
