Job Title :  Medical Assistant

Reports To: Practice Manager and 3 Providers

Immediate opening for full-time position Monday through Friday in Wilmette.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our busy primary care/internal medicine practice who is dependable, professional, organized and detail oriented.  In this role, you will be working with the providers to ensure patients receive the best-in-class clinical care.

Responsibilities:

• Compassionate and friendly demeanor
• Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a physician. Records medical histories, medications and vital signs.
• Administers injections as directed by physicians.
• Performs point of care testing, including venipuncture, urine dips, finger sticks, strep screens, flu screens, pregnancy tests, cultures, EKGs and chronic disease management testing.
• Clean and prepare exam rooms for patient
• Manage patient medical records using the (EPIC) system

Skills & Qualifications:

Medical Assistant Certification is required, with at least two years of experience working with providers.

Dependable and timely.

Ability to commute to office.

Ability to multi-task, manage time efficiently while working independently.

Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

Strong computer and communication skills.

Salary & Benefits:
