Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Missouri Special Education (MO SPED) certification required
• Previous experience working with elementary-level students, especially in grades 3–5, preferred
• Strong classroom management and behavior intervention skills
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Collaborative spirit for partnering with classroom teachers, specialists, and families
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction by pulling out small groups of students needing additional support
• Adapt curriculum to meet diverse learning needs and foster student engagement
• Monitor student progress, documenting growth and reporting on outcomes
• Work closely with teachers, aides, and staff to ensure accommodations are in place
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and strategies for success
• Foster an inclusive, supportive environment that encourages all learners to reach their full potential
