Risk Analyst

As a Catastrophe Risk Analyst, you'll: Collaborate with clients to audit and model insurance data sets Analyze and interpret model outputs, preparing clear and compelling reports Present your findings to internal and external stakeholders, sparking strategic discussions Respond to real-time catastrophic events, providing critical insights to help insurers protect their policyholders Dive into large datasets to uncover trends and develop innovative risk solutions How will we support you? In the REACH Program, your development is our priority: A two-year full-time role designed to build your expertise in reinsurance broking and risk management through a structured training and development program Direct access to our executive team and a network of experienced mentors Support to earn your ARe (Associate in Reinsurance) designation within 18 months A flexible schedule that balances in-office collaboration with remote work What are we looking for? Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Business Analytics, Data Science, Earth Science, Geography, Risk Management, etc.) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Great attention to detail and strong problem-solving mindset Willingness to travel to our home office in Rolling Meadows, IL, five times for training (all expenses covered) Preferred Qualifications: Some programming experience (SQL, VBA, or R) Internship or work experience in a related field Interest in reinsurance broking and risk management What can you expect from Gallagher Re?
