Clinical Psychologist (Autism and ADHD) Fixed‐term maternity cover, approximately 12 months. Pay: £58,500-£63,000 per annum FTE, pro rata for 15 hours per week Hours: 15 hours per week (one day in clinic, one day working from home) Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire Reporting: Clinical Psychologist (Lead) About the Company The Nook Therapy Clinic is a specialist healthcare company that supports adults, children, young people and their families affected by mental health, autism and ADHD conditions. Role Overview Provide diagnostic assessments for children, young people and adults, support MDT discussions and supply specialist advice, working within a multidisciplinary team and in line with NICE guidelines. Key Responsibilities Contribute to diagnostic assessment of autism and ADHD. Lead MDT discussions to support assessment and diagnosis. Offer specialist advice and support to multi‑disciplinary professionals and families. Develop, coordinate and evaluate specialist interventions. Support research projects and ensure interventions comply with NICE and professional standards. Manage own caseload and supervise junior staff as required. Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records. Participate in service improvement, audit and quality improvement activities. Qualifications & Experience Relevant degree in Clinical Psychology. Registered member of HCPC. Experience in autism/ADHD assessment. Willingness to train in autism and ADHD diagnostic instruments. Understanding of the needs of autistic individuals and ADHD across the lifespan. Knowledge of multi‑agency partnership working. Experience in delivering training packages. IT literacy including electronic records and software. Personal Qualities Excellent communication skills and empathy. Autonomous practitioner with sound judgment. Commitment to professional development and supervision.
