This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a collaborative, mission-driven organization supporting leaders in the maritime, logistics, terminals, and transportation industries.In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining regulatory compliance, and delivering exceptional employee support across multiple business units.At TOTE Resources, we are committed to our core values of Safety, Operational Excellence, Customer Experience, and Colleague Experience.If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy problem-solving, and take pride in delivering high-quality, detail-driven work, we encourage you to apply.What You'll DoProcess accurate and timely multi-state payrollMaintain payroll records, deductions, garnishments, and tax documentationAudit and review employee timesheets for accuracyEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulationsPartner closely with HR, Accounting, and operational teamsSupport payroll audits, reconciliations, and year-end processingRespond to employee inquiries with professionalism and urgencyDrive process improvements and system enhancementsMaintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee dataWhat We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications3+ years of payroll processing experienceHigh School diploma or equivalentStrong knowledge of payroll laws and compliance requirementsExperience with HRIS and payroll systemsIntermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong communication and customer service abilitiesProven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesPreferred QualificationsExperience with ADP or ConcurMulti-state or multi-entity payroll experienceExperience working with union and non-union laborCompensation & BenefitsCompensationThe salary range is $50,000 to $65,000 annually, with an expected target salary of $60,000 to $62,000 per year.
