Progressive Care Nurse

Pride Health is hiring experienced Registered Nurses for a Surgical Stepdown opportunity in Topeka, KS. Pay Range: $2,200.00–$2,434.00/week Location: Topeka, KS 66604 Shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM | 12-hour shifts Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week Contract: 26 weeks; longer contracts up to 51 weeks preferred Weekend: Every other weekend Call: None Requirements 1+ year of Progressive Care/Stepdown experience Active KS or Multistate RN license AHA BLS required ADN or BSN Prior travel experience required Epic experience preferred 28-bed post-surgical stepdown unit Bariatric and urology/nephrology surgery GI conditions, including SBO and diverticulitis Cholecystectomy and appendectomy Wounds, cellulitis, abscesses and osteomyelitis Amputations Typical staffing ratio: 1:6 Float to other post-surgical and Med/Surg inpatient units Pride Global offers eligible employee’s comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance, and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, , legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
