Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for day shifts. This role involves managing acute patient care in a fast-paced environment, with responsibilities tailored to patient needs and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient conditions upon arrival, ensuring prompt and appropriate care.
• Administer treatments, medications, and interventions in accordance with established protocols.
• Document patient information accurately using Epic electronic charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float to like units within scope as needed, maintaining flexibility and responsiveness.
• Adhere to compliance requirements, including certifications and licensing standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active KS or Compact RN license at the time of submission.
• Possess 1+ years of ER nursing experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Epic charting and electronic medical records.
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, and TNCC certifications.
• Able to work 36 or 48-hour shifts, including weekend commitments.
• Capable of managing high-pressure situations with strong clinical judgment.
