Cemetery Services SpecialistLocation: Miami, FL 33167Duration: 3 Months (Contract to Hire)Shift Timing: 8am - 5pm (Monday to Friday)Job Responsibilities:Perform burial openings and closingsInstall memorials, markers, and burial containersComplete grave and marker maintenance work ordersOperate equipment including tractors, dump trucks, utility vehicles, tampers, and backhoesMaintain cemetery grounds and equipmentFollow all safety procedures and company standardsRequirements:Minimum of six (6) months' experience operating standard equipmentAcceptable driving record and applicable license(s) to operate equipment/vehiclesAbility to operate hand-held tools and equipment, including, but not limited to a shovel, pick, rake, sledgehammer, lawn mower, weed trimmer, leaf blower, chain saw and pumpAbility to operate mechanical equipment including, but not limited to, a dump truck, tractor, utility vehicle, marker trailer, dump trailer, jack hammer, tamper and backhoeAbility to accurately use measuring devices (i.e. tape measure, yardstick, etc.)Ability to communicate effectively with fellow associates, contractor personnel and client families Ability to lift heavy objects up to 30 lbs.
