Job Title: Receptionist

Location: Jodie Parrack State Farm, Elkins, WV

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and support in a fast-paced office environment. This position requires the candidate to obtain a Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license within 30 days of employment.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome clients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
Answer and direct incoming phone calls, taking messages as necessary.
Provide clients with assistance regarding inquiries, payment processing, billing concerns, and other office-related matters.
Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for the office.
Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
Process incoming and outgoing mail.
Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, shredding and document preparation.
Support the team with various office tasks as needed; 24-30 hours per week.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in office administration is a plus.
Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Friendly demeanor and a positive attitude.
