Lead, F&II Finance Analyst

Lead, F&II Finance Analyst – Westchester, IL Hybrid work. The Lead is responsible for capital, yield, supplies and packaging adjustments and reporting, inventory analysis, reconciliations, yield reporting, monthly close preparation, forecasting, and other ad‑hoc tasks. Key tasks include creating and reviewing DTP, overseeing audit requirements and delivery, and driving process improvements. Responsibilities Develop Accountant – oversee one Accountant, guiding and improving tasks. Supplies/Packaging Adjustment/Analysis and Reporting – prepare, analyze, and adjust supplies and packaging inventory/consumption to support operations and finance. Resin Preparation – prepare key entries for inventory/consumption, analysis, and reporting for key supplies used in sweetener manufacturing. Account Reconciliations – prepare monthly account reconciliations in a timely manner to ensure internal control policies are followed. Yield Preparation – prepare yield/accounting each month and analyze data for reasonability. Maintenance adjustments – prepare analysis, entries, and reporting to reflect expected maintenance monthly for select plants. Monthly Variance Reporting – prepare monthly analysis reports comparing actuals vs forecast for production and manufacturing expenses. Forecasting/Budgeting – work cross‑functionally across plants to prepare monthly forecasts and periodic budgets (fixed and variable costs). Inventory management – assist in physical inventory counts/reconciliations as required. Audit/SOX Controls – assist and guide audit data requests. Process Improvement – conduct periodic process reviews to standardize and enhance procedures across the COE and lead implementation of improvements. Develop Relationships – build and maintain collaborative relationships with all units and functional managers across local and remote locations to ensure accurate and timely reporting of plant financial performance. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance. 2+ years relevant experience as Senior Accountant or Senior Analyst. Consistent accuracy and adherence to deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (intermediate/advanced in Excel). Understanding of business processes and cost concepts. Experience using ERP costing systems; SAP experience preferred. Ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and drive improvements. Ownership mindset on core responsibilities. Strong verbal and written communication skills for all organizational levels. Travel required as necessary (minimal). Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Prioritization and organizational skills. Collaborative teamwork skills. Openness to change and new ideas. Flexibility in job responsibilities as part of the team. Experience training others (potential direct report in the past). Compensation Pay Range: $102,100.00 – $136,166.67 annual. Incentive Compensation: May be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or role‑specific commission/bonus.
