Travel Surgical Tech/ORT - Certified Surgical Technologist/CST

American Traveler seeks an experienced Neuro Surgical Technologist with 2+ years of experience and advanced neurosurgical knowledge for a hospital surgery unit position.

Job Details

• Hospital surgery unit specializing in advanced neurosurgical procedures,
• Cases include transsphenoidal pituitary surgery, LITT (Laser Interstitial Thermal Therapy), GammaTile brachytherapy implantation, Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS), additional complex cranial procedures, and complex spine,
• Familiarity with emerging technologies required, including LITT systems, GammaTile implantation, stereotactic navigation, and DBS equipment,
• Day shift hours from 06:30-17:00,
• 40 hours per week with an on-call requirement of 10-12 call shifts per month,
• Weekend requirement is call shifts only,
• Holiday coverage required for any holiday that falls on a regularly scheduled shift,
• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of neurosurgical tech experience required; 4+ years preferred,
• Advanced knowledge of neuro anatomy and specialized instrumentation,
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required,
• License required if applicable,
• SSN and a valid US home address required for consideration,
• 2 professional references required for consideration,
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration,
• Full SSN and full DOB required for consideration,

• High-level anticipation skills during complex cranial cases are essential for this role,
• Strong team coordination skills required for patient safety during lengthy, high-risk procedures,
