I am hiring for a Production Operator in Salt Lake City, UT where we offer competitive starting pay & growth opportunities! Schedule

• DAY SHIFT AND NIGHT SHIFT AVAILABLE: 6:45am-7pm or 6:45pm-7am
• WORK MON/TUE, OFF WED/THURS, WORK FRI/SAT/SUN
• OFF MON/TUE, WORK WED/THURS, OFF FRI/SAT/SUN
• Only work 15 days a month!
• Every other weekend is a 3-day weekend!

Responsibilities

• Use tools and measuring devices to ensure the final product meets specifications and to catch abnormalities.
• Collaborate with team members so orders are wound onto reels correctly.
• Ensure neat wraps on reels.
• Cut, tie off, and cap conduit when reels or cables are complete.
• Monitor print and footage and make corrections as needed.
• Perform checks for product and packaging requirements.
• Complete paperwork for inventory transactions.
• Assist the Line Operator during start-ups and support operators with cutting, tie-offs, and reel changes.
• Participate in training, safety, and continuous improvement activities.
• Report unsafe conditions and broken equipment.

Requirements

• High School education preferred, but not required.
• Basic math/measurement & reading comprehension skills.
• At least 6 months of equipment or machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to maintain safety, quality, and attention to detail in repetitive activities.
• Experience using measuring devices and hand tools.
• Ability to follow work instructions and use basic math.
• Material handling or forklift experience preferred.
• Physical requirements include moving around obstacles, wearing PPE, standing and walking for the entirety of a 12-hour shift, working around hot machinery, weather, noise, and lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
