We're looking for a hands-on, solutions-driven Automation Engineer to play a critical role in advancing our manufacturing capabilities and supporting our rapid growth.If you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced production environment and enjoy solving complex technical challenges, this is your opportunity to make a tangible impact.Drive Automation ExcellenceServe as the technical lead for automated systems, including our Laser Welding Line, ensuring safe, stable, and repeatable productionTroubleshoot automation, controls, and equipment issues to minimize downtime and maintain throughputOptimize processes to improve cycle time, yield, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)Support new product introductions (NPI), including equipment setup, validation, and readinessStrengthen Equipment ReliabilitySupport maintenance and reliability programs across automated and semi-automated manufacturing systemsDiagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and controls issuesPartner with Maintenance and Operations to drive equipment upgrades and improvementsLead root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring failuresSupport Cutting-Edge Battery SystemsProvide technical expertise for the Balancing Work Center and charger systemsAssist in designing, building, and commissioning battery chargers and related equipmentMaintain and troubleshoot balancing and charging systems to ensure safe operationDevelop and maintain documentation, wiring diagrams, and technical standardsAdvanced Controls & TechnologySupport PLCs, HMIs, motion systems, vision systems, and industrial networksAssist with programming updates, integration, and continuous system improvementsMaintain electrical schematics, controls documentation, and software backupsLead Continuous ImprovementContribute to initiatives focused on safety, quality, cost, and deliverySupport capital projects from equipment selection through commissioning (FAT/SAT)Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and OperationsWhat You BringBachelor's degree in Automation, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field)3+ years of experience supporting automated manufacturing equipmentStrong hands-on expertise with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and industrial networksProgramming experience (C, C++, Python, or G-Code preferred)Proven troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, and controls systemsAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentationWorking knowledge of industrial safety standards (LOTO, machine guarding, etc.)Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to drive root cause solutionsExcellent collaboration and communication skills
