HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER

HR Manager – Columbus & Les Peters Youth Academies, Tampa, FL Columbus Youth Academy is a moderate-risk residential commitment program for male youth up to age 19. This program provides youth with comprehensive care, treatment, supervision, and evidence-based sex offender services. Youth will also receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling while in the program. Pay Starting at $60,000 annually. Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and company‑paid life insurance within 90 days 401(k) match up to 6% after 1 year of employment Paid time off that can be used as soon as it accrues Responsibilities Oversee all human resources functions for the site to ensure HR goals and objectives are met. Report to the site Program Director and the Regional Human Resources Director as a Human Resources Generalist. Directly supervise Human Resources and/or Training staff. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business, or related field plus two years of HR experience, or six years of equivalent experience. Master’s degree, HR certification, and/or PHR preferred. Minimum of two years of experience in employee relations, training, and/or employment. Knowledge of federal and state employment law, HR policies and practices, and governmental licensing requirements. Successful management experience required. Good interpersonal skills, including ability to interview potential employees if required. Must pass a criminal background check, child abuse registry, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
