Our services include event planning, décor, floral design, rentals, catering, staffing, photography, entertainment, and more. We're looking for an organized, detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant to join our growing team. Position Summary The Entry-Level Accountant will assist with the day-to-day financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate financial records, timely invoicing, expense tracking, and reporting. Responsibilities Accounts Receivable Create and send client invoices Record incoming payments Monitor outstanding balances Follow up on past-due invoices Reconcile customer accounts Accounts Payable Enter vendor invoices Process vendor payments Maintain vendor records Reconcile vendor statements Track payment due dates Banking & Reconciliation Reconcile bank and credit card accounts Record deposits Assist with cash flow tracking Verify financial transactions Bookkeeping Maintain accurate accounting records Classify expenses Prepare journal entries Assist with month-end closing Organize financial documents Payroll Support Assist with payroll preparation Verify employee hours Track reimbursements Maintain payroll records Financial Reporting Prepare weekly financial summaries Assist with monthly reports Help analyze expenses Support budgeting activities Administrative Support Maintain organized digital filing systems Assist with audits Communicate with vendors regarding invoices Support the Operations and Management teams as needed Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing) 0–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience Strong attention to detail Excellent organizational skills Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Experience with QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software is a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Preferred Skills Knowledge of GAAP fundamentals Experience with payroll processing Experience working in service-based businesses Comfortable learning new software and technology What You'll Learn Full-cycle accounting Financial reporting Cash flow management Event industry accounting Vendor management Budget tracking Business operations Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay (approximately $23-$25/hour, depending on experience) Paid time off Opportunities for professional development and career growth Supportive and collaborative work environment Why Join BB Event Productions?
