Job Details Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Job Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Healthcare Setting: Inpatient hospital unit Location: Lima, Ohio Start Date: 09/21/2026 Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights Hours Per Week: 36 Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890 Unit Focus: Med/Surg Telemetry with a strong cardiac patient mix Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics Job Requirements Current RN license in the state of practice or compact license Minimum 1 year of registered nurse experience required Experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred BLS required ACLS required within 6 months of hire; preferred at hire NIH Stroke Certification preferred Experience with telemetry, cardiac monitoring, and titratable drips strongly preferred Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam Comfort working nights in a high-acuity, team-oriented environment Responsibilities Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care using the nursing process Assess patients thoroughly, identify priorities, and develop individualized plans of care Monitor telemetry patients and respond appropriately to changes in condition Care for patients with chest pain, CHF exacerbations, pre/post cardiac cath needs, and alcohol detox presentations Administer and titrate medications and drips as appropriate, including Cardizem, Nitro, and Heparin Support post-operative and medical patients with standard lines, drains, and devices Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and improve outcomes Educate patients and families while promoting safety, comfort, and understanding Maintain professionalism, adaptability, and strong communication in a fast-paced hospital setting If you are an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry RN seeking travel nurse jobs in Ohio , apply now to join this rewarding Lima healthcare opportunity.
