Job Details Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse Setting: Med/Surg Telemetry / Stepdown Unit Location: Lima, OH 45801 Start Date: 08/10/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour night shifts Schedule: 3 shifts per week; every other weekend and every other holiday Hours Per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 - $2,010 Unit Highlights: 36-bed telemetry unit with a supportive care team and a steady mix of cardiac and medical patients Registered Nurse Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or compact license Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required BLS certification required; ACLS preferred at hire but must be obtained within 6 months of hire NIH Stroke certification preferred Experience in acute care, telemetry nursing, or stepdown nursing strongly preferred Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam Comfort caring for cardiac patients and titrating drips when appropriate Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities Deliver safe, compassionate, patient-centered care using the nursing process Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized plans of care Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition with confidence Administer medications and manage Cardizem, Nitro, and Heparin drips as indicated Care for patients with chest pain, CHF exacerbations, pre/post cardiac cath needs, and medical telemetry diagnoses Collaborate with physicians, PCTs, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support optimal outcomes Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and self-care needs Maintain a safe, organized, and professional clinical environment Apply now for this travel telemetry RN job in Lima, Ohio, and join a team committed to high-quality patient care.
