Job Details Position: Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) – Stepdown / Med-Surg Telemetry Location: Lima, Ohio 45801 Assignment Length: 13 weeks Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010 Shift: 12-hour nights Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week; every other weekend and every other holiday Hours Per Week: 36 Setting: 28-bed medical-surgical telemetry and renal unit Patient Ratios: Typically 1:4-5, subject to staffing needs Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice or compact state eligibility Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required Current BLS certification required Current ACLS certification required Ability to complete a dysrhythmia exam Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation Comfort working in a fast-paced acute care, stepdown, or telemetry environment Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills Responsibilities Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric telemetry patients Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret telemetry strips throughout the shift Administer medications and IV therapies in accordance with policy and clinical practice standards Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate care and support positive patient outcomes Manage patients receiving drips and advanced respiratory support as needed Educate patients and families and serve as a patient advocate Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately Why Choose This Travel Nursing Job?
