Job Details Specialty: Telemetry / Stepdown Nursing Setting: 28-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit Location: Lima, Ohio 45801 Start Date: 8/10/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour night shifts Hours: 36 hours per week Typical Ratio: 1:4–5, based on staffing availability Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910–$2,010 Job Requirements Active RN license in the state of Ohio or compact state coverage Minimum of 2 years of Registered Nurse experience required BLS and ACLS required Ability to interpret telemetry and recognize dysrhythmias Experience with acute care, telemetry nursing, or stepdown nursing preferred Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills Comfort working with adult and geriatric patient populations Ability to adapt in a high-acuity, fast-moving healthcare environment Responsibilities Provide direct patient care using the nursing process and evidence-based practice Assess, monitor, and respond to changing patient conditions in a telemetry/stepdown setting Interpret telemetry rhythms and document findings in the electronic health record Administer medications safely and in accordance with nursing standards Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team Support patient and family education throughout the plan of care Manage common therapies including Cardizem, Nitro, and Heparin drips as assigned Care for patients requiring oxygen support such as trachs, BiPAP, CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, and nasal cannula Maintain patient safety, infection control, and accurate clinical documentation Deliver compassionate care while maintaining professionalism in a dynamic unit Why Consider This Travel Nursing Job?
