As an Associate Relationship Manager at Cumberland, you’ll operate at the heart of a fast-paced, volatile, and exciting market — collaborating with leading experts and innovators in the crypto industry. You’ll combine market execution skills with relationship-building expertise to provide our global counterparties with an exceptional trading experience in both spot and derivatives markets. Responsibilities: Assist in the management of day-to-day counterparty-facing operation of the electronic platform. Manage counterparty configuration, entitlements, limit setups, and controls Analyze counterparty flow, hit rates, and platform performance to identify opportunities to improve win rates, revenue capture, and flow quality. Participate in the commercial discussions with counterparties on pricing, activity, and performance Gather and disseminate relevant counterparty and market color and feedback Collaborate with development teams to promote future product development Act as primary escalation point for counterparties on electronic trading issues. Take ownership of counterparty inquiries and work with Onboarding, Operations, and Treasury teams to deliver fast, effective resolution. Coordinate with traders and relationship managers in other regions to provide seamless time-zone transitions, and consistent, high-quality service. Partner with Senior Relationship Managers to develop tailored solutions for counterparty needs – including deck construction and presentation material. Generate and share original cross market macro/micro insights (spot and options) - internally and externally. Qualifications: At least 2 years’ experience in institutional client coverage, sales, or relationship management. Experience managing trading relationships and discussions Knowledge and familiarity of electronic trading systems and workflows. Familiarity with FIX and API protocols Familiartity/experience working with vendors, OEMS platforms and trading software Ability to proactively identify issues and address them in a real-time trading environment Passion for crypto and understanding of digital asset market structure Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure. Highly motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of urgency. Basic understanding of options and forward strategies. Technical proficiency in Python and Java; Git, SQL, and Linux familiarity is desirable. Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills – strong proficiency in PowerPoint. The annual base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $150,000 depending on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and relevant skill set. The position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
