Specialty Representative, Gastroenterology - Dayton/Toledo, OH

AbbVie seeks a field-based specialty representative for the gastroenterology market in the Dayton/Toledo, Ohio region. The role involves executing sales strategies, managing territory accounts, and building customer relationships to drive brand performance and revenue targets.

Responsibilities

• Execute brand strategy and sales tactics to meet financial targets and performance objectives
• Develop and execute call plans with SMART objectives, manage objections, and close sales opportunities
• Build trusted customer relationships by proactively addressing healthcare provider needs and expectations
• Gather and share market intelligence on competitors, disease state, and territory dynamics with internal teams
• Identify and develop disease state experts and speaker/advocate relationships to maximize brand performance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or business; or five years industry experience with three years in pharmaceuticals
• Proven sales success with strong presentation skills and ability to adapt selling approach
• Leadership experience with documented track record of increased responsibility
• Deep scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge in assigned area
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass drug screening and background checks
• HCIR credentialing eligibility including immunization/vaccination and state-specific requirements
• Strong business acumen and proficiency with strategic thinking in matrix environments
