Case Picker - 2nd shift

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Case Picker / Order Selector to join our fast-paced warehouse team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind getting our orders built accurately and out the door. salary: $21 - $22 per hour
shift: Second
work hours: 3 PM - 11:30 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Order Fulfillment: Utilized a headset system (Voice-to-Pick) or RF scanners to accurately select, pick, and prepare customer orders by case counts from designated warehouse slots.

• Material Handling: Safely operated electric pallet jacks (ride-on/walkie), tuggers, or manual jacks to navigate warehouse aisles and transport picked pallets to the staging area.

• Pallet Building: Built stable, secure, and securely wrapped pallets by following structural stacking guidelines (heavy items on bottom, lighter items on top) to prevent product damage during transit.

• Quality Assurance: Conducted routine visual inspections of cases for damage, verified correct item codes, and ensured precise expiration date rotation (FIFO - First In, First Out).

• Production Velocity: Consistently met or exceeded daily engineering labor standards (ELS) for picking accuracy and cases-per-hour speed metrics.

• Safety & Sanitation: Maintained a clean, debris-free picking aisle, performed pre-shift equipment safety checks, and strictly adhered to all facility safety rules and OSHA regulations.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
