Receiving Specialist -Retail Hardware & Door/Window Special Orders

RECEIVING SPECIALIST - RETAIL HARDWARE & DOOR/WINDOW SPECIAL ORDERS

Ganahl Lumber is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Receiving Specialist to support our retail hardware department and door/window special order operations. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have strong organizational skills, and take pride in accuracy and customer service, we'd like to meet you.
What You'll Do:

• Receive and inspect incoming hardware inventory and special-order merchandise.
• Verify shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Receive and process custom door and window orders.
• Ensure products are properly labeled, organized, and stored.
• Coordinate with sales staff regarding customer special-order arrivals.
• Assist with customer pickups and order verification.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and receiving documentation.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous warehouse, receiving, inventory control, or building materials experience preferred.
• Experience with doors, windows, millwork, or retail hardware is a plus.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday.
• Comfortable working in warehouse and outdoor environments.
