This position supports training and technical assistance for certification staff by working closely with multiple bureaus within the Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL). DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position supports training and technical assistance for certification staff by working closely with multiple bureaus within the Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL). The role helps create strong communication, clear guidance, and effective support across certification operations. As a Human Services Program Representative 1, you will perform the following duties:
- Training Support: Coordinate training efforts with staff, agencies, and stakeholders to meet certification needs
- Program Knowledge: Follow federal and state requirements for child care certification and licensing
- Facilitation Duties: Provide training through presentations, webinars, and meetings across regional offices
- Data Review: Collect and examine data to help understand outcomes and support program planning
- Resource Development: Create and update training materials, manuals, and support tools for certification staff
- Work Group Leadership: Lead and participate in training and technical assistance work groups and report results
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to three days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Three years of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating a human service program, and a bachelor's degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
