Insurance Associate

Determine compliance of commercial insurance policies on real estate loans against loan documents, servicing contracts, GSE guides, internal policies and procedures, and applicable regulations Work with borrowers and clients to obtain evidence of compliant insurance Correspond with borrowers, insurance agents, and insurance companies to resolve insurance issues or discrepancies Escalate non-compliant coverages to management or senior analysts following established procedures Process insurance premium disbursements Prepare for lender placement of insurance deficiencies Support additional analytical responsibilities related to insurance coverage Work within PNC's Midland organization and Insurance department Requirements 4-year college degree or 2+ years of related experience University/college degree with less than 1 year of professional experience and/or successful completion of a formal development program In lieu of a degree, comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may be considered Knowledge of insurance legal and regulatory environment Loan review knowledge Real estate property data analysis Financial-services regulatory environment knowledge Risk assessment Accuracy and attention to detail Decision making and critical thinking Effective communications Managing multiple priorities Negotiating Problem solving Process management No required certifications No required licenses No required or preferred language assessments Must not require employment visa sponsorship; PNC will not participate in STEM OPT Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in compliance analysis of commercial insurance policies related to real estate loans, with a strong focus on regulatory knowledge, risk assessment, and effective communication.
