Join Colonial Ford Truck Sales as a Service Support Staff team member and help deliver an outstanding service experience. You'll support the day-to-day operations of our service department and helping ensure the department runs smoothly.

Service Support Staff Responsibilities

• Supporting service technicians through daily tasks
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency under the supervision of a Master Technician
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications under the supervision of a Master Technician

Service Support Staff Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent automotive technical degree/certification
• Service department a plus, but not required
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
• Friendly, professional demeanor with strong customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Basic computer knowledge and clerical experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods
• Availability to work during regular dealership business hours

Pay & Benefits

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 hourly wage or more, based on experience Schedule: Full-time, daytime hours; MondayFriday
