Ultrasound Technologist - Travel Position

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Variable 10-hour shifts, with starting times of 6:30 AM or 11:00 AM. On-call opportunity during night shifts available.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment. This position requires flexibility and commitment to provide high-quality imaging services to patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ultrasound procedures and must be willing to float between different facilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform various ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, and vascular studies.
• Utilize ultrasound equipment in accordance with safety and quality control standards.
• Assist in the preparation of patients for procedures by providing clear instructions and explanations.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including imaging results and protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of charge experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems, preferably Epic.
• Required certifications: ARDMS, ARRT (R*), BLS, RVT (specific certifications in at least one category).
• Valid state ultrasound license required; CA license must be in hand.
• Previous experience in community hospitals or LTAC is preferred.
