Staff Accountant - Accounts Receivable

Responsibilities The Staff Accountant – Accounts Receivable owns the day-to-day accounts receivable operations of the company, including cash application, remote deposits, and reconciliation of bank and credit card settlement activity. Reporting to the Controller, you'll own collections across our net terms portfolio, manage credit and shipment holds, and resolve billing and payment discrepancies in partnership with our Sales and Customer Service teams — all with the goal of minimizing aging receivables and accelerating cash inflow. You'll also produce weekly AR aging reporting and analysis, process customer credit applications, and support our month-end close and general accounting functions. Position Details We are on a fast-growth trajectory. This position is hybrid at our state-of-the-art showcase facility in Hillsboro, Oregon, offered with a competitive base salary of approximately $75,000 and bonus opportunity. The actual base salary will depend on experience, knowledge and skills. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered Minimum of 5 years of accounts receivable or general accounting experience Demonstrated proficiency with ERP systems and electronic payment processing, including ACH, wire transfers, and e-checks Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets, including complex formulas, SUMIFS, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and Pivot Tables A sharp analytical eye — able to segment a portfolio, identify the drivers behind a trend, and turn AR activity into insight that informs decisions Strong, professional communication skills, including the firmness collections sometimes requires Experience with Google Workspace, Rootstock, or merchant/credit card settlement reconciliation is a plus EEO Statement At True Terpenes, we don't just accept difference — we celebrate it, we support it, and we thrive on it for the benefit of our employees, our products, and our community.
