Principal, Financial Institutions Consulting (Life Sciences Focus)

Principal role leading client engagements and business development for IQVIA's Financial Institutions Consulting group, which advises private equity, venture capital, and biopharma clients on M&A, investment strategy, and value creation in life sciences.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver strategic solutions addressing complex client issues in investment and M&A contexts
- Own client engagement delivery, ensuring satisfaction and high-quality value-added output
- Drive new business development and revenue opportunities within PE, VC, hedge fund, and emerging biopharma communities
- Lead proposal development and pre-sales meetings with prospective clients
- Mentor junior team members and provide thought leadership through speaking, writing, and industry engagement
Requirements
- 11+ years strategy consulting, life sciences corporate development, or financial institution experience
- Proven client relationship management and delivery with PE/VC/hedge fund and biopharma investors
- Senior-level solution selling with demonstrated ability to influence C-suite executives
- Experience in M&A, commercial due diligence, valuation, and deal advisory within healthcare/life sciences
- Solid understanding of financial statements, P&L, balance sheets, and corporate finance
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
- Based in or able to work from NYC, Boston, or San Francisco office
