Global Patient Safety Business Excellence, Senior Manager

This senior manager role leads business excellence initiatives within Global Patient Safety, overseeing project management, governance, and operational compliance. The position drives pharmacovigilance activities across organizational changes and regulatory interactions while advancing quality management systems and inspection readiness. The successful candidate will champion continuous improvement, stakeholder collaboration, and digital transformation opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of project and change management standards and best practices across Global Patient Safety
• Drive governance frameworks and oversight to ensure effective decision-making aligned with organizational objectives
• Deliver business-critical initiatives within Global Patient Safety and represent function on enterprise programs
• Provide strategic oversight for pharmacovigilance activities related to mergers, acquisitions, licensing, and divestitures
• Champion digital transformation and automation opportunities to enhance Global Patient Safety operations

Requirements

• Doctorate degree with 2 years safety project management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Expertise in project management, change management, and organizational transformation
• Demonstrated leadership ability to influence without formal authority
• Understanding of pharmacovigilance regulations, compliance practices, and regulatory requirements interpretation
• Experience working in international environments with cross-functional teams
• PMP certification or equivalent in change or project management preferred
• Experience in pharmacovigilance, drug safety, regulatory affairs, quality, or related life sciences functions
