Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Tennessee Special Education teaching license/certification with all required endorsements
• Demonstrated experience creating and implementing IEPs, monitoring student progress, and adapting instruction based on data
• Background delivering both inclusion and pull-out services
• Strong collaboration skills to partner with general education teams and families
• Comfortable managing an elementary caseload and a full-time school-based schedule

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) aligned with state standards and student strengths/needs
• Deliver instruction, interventions, and support tailored to each student’s learning goals
• Track and document student progress, making data-driven adjustments as needed
• Work closely with general education teachers to promote effective inclusion and differentiated instruction within the classroom
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to foster a supportive learning environment
• Stay current with special education best practices and compliance requirements
