Summary Willmar Poultry Farms, an affiliate of Life-Science Innovations, seeks a full‑time Farm Manager to oversee day‑to‑day operations of turkey farms located in Olivia, MN and Redwood Falls, MN. Responsibilities Oversee the turkey farm’s daily operations, ensuring flock health, barn maintenance, ventilation, mechanical systems, and processing flow and timing. Manage flock care: keep flocks healthy until mature, ensure feed, water, vaccination, medication, mortality, water treatment, rodent activity, and traffic flow data are recorded. Order and monitor feed supplies, inspect barns multiple times per day, dispose of dead birds properly, euthanize birds beyond recovery when necessary. Respond to alarm calls for barns 24/7. Perform maintenance of barn equipment, mechanical systems, and machinery; manage barn ventilation. Enforce company policies on biosecurity, animal welfare, safety, and regulatory requirements. Ideal Candidate Summary High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Valid Minnesota Driver’s License. Minimum 6 months experience in animal husbandry and welfare. Physical capability to bend, push, stoop, lift up to 50 pounds; stand, walk, sit for extended periods. Adherence to bio‑security and animal welfare policies. Self‑starter, leadership or supervisory experience. Ability to make sound business decisions and work independently. Confidence using technology and a positive attitude. Personal transportation to reach barn locations. Compensation and Benefits Starting wage: $21.07-$26.34.
