Position: Sanitation Technician
Pay Rate: $19.35/hour
Location: Lathrop, CA

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:30am Start Time

(Must be available to work Saturdays as needed and be on-call on Sundays if coverage is required.)

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused  Sanitation Technician to maintain cleanliness and organization throughout a warehouse environment. This position is responsible for routine sanitation and housekeeping duties, including maintaining aisles, cleaning racks and pallets, removing debris, and responding to spills.

The ideal candidate is reliable, attentive to safety, and comfortable performing physically active cleaning duties throughout the workday.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Sweep and maintain warehouse aisles and designated work areas.
• Dust and clean warehouse racks and pallets.
• Empty trash cans and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
• Clean spills promptly and follow proper safety procedures.
• Pick up and dispose of debris, including paper, cardboard, wood pieces, plastic wrap, and other materials.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout the facility.
• Identify and report potential safety hazards or sanitation concerns.
• Follow all facility sanitation and workplace safety procedures.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing assigned duties.
• Assist with additional cleaning and sanitation responsibilities as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Previous sanitation, janitorial, warehouse, or industrial cleaning experience preferred.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and workplace safety.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Dependable with consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in an active warehouse environment.
• Must have flexible weekend availability.
• Must be available to work Saturdays as needed.
• Must be on-call on Sundays when coverage is required.
