About the role Percona offers open source database software and related services. This role owns technical product messaging for document databases including MongoDB, MySQL, and MariaDB, and partners with teams to connect messaging to services and offerings. What you'll do Develop technical product messaging and positioning for MongoDB offerings, MySQL, and MariaDB support and expertise. Create use case and value based messaging for features and GTM efforts. Coordinate with Product on roadmap inputs and translate VOC into positioning and product feedback. Own launch plans for releases, features, and service offerings in your areas. Build competitive landscapes and enable sales and customer success with prepared materials. Engage with the open source community and represent Percona at events and in public content. What they're looking for Strong communicator who can write for technical and economic buyers. Experience translating complex technology into clear messaging; able to learn new tech quickly. Ability to work across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Services with stakeholder management skills. Comfortable in technical discussions about databases, infrastructure, and operations. Open source mindset with experience engaging with open source communities.
