Administrative Assistant

At AMH, our goal is to simplify the experience of leasing a home through professional management and maintenance support, so our residents can focus on what really matters to them. We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant. Responsibilities Greet guests, visitors, and callers, route and resolve information requests from internal or external customers within scope. Guide and direct more complex customer inquiries to the appropriate staff member and/or management for resolution. Coordinate day-to-day tenant transactions and maintain, audit, and report all fund management relating to move‑in, move‑out, initial rent, deposits, and outstanding funds. Assist the property management team with unlicensed activity and tenant access, including the Rently process as directed by management. Prepare and maintain data entry requests, paper and electronic document filing, and archiving within various database systems. Review, prepare, and deliver various routine and ad‑hoc reports for management. Ensure adequate office supplies and place orders as needed. Answer incoming phone calls and resolve issues or direct them to appropriate partners. Review and route incoming mail, prepare outgoing mail, process payments, and greet in‑office visitors. Requirements High School Diploma or GED is required. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative support function is beneficial. Experience in leasing, real estate, property management, or related industry is preferred. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential. Solid verbal, written, and presentation skills. Excellent customer, quality, and results orientation. Ability to interact effectively at all levels. Capability to be an effective member of project teams. Compensation The anticipated pay range for this position is $21.09 to $25.30 per hour. Actual starting base pay within this range will depend on factors including geographic location, education, training, skills, and relevant experience. Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
