Overview Position Summary The ServicePorter supports the daily operations of the OEMdealership’sservice department by ensuring efficient vehicle flow and providingan exceptionalcustomer experience. This roleis responsible formoving, organizing, andmaintainingvehicles in a safe and professional manner whileassistingthe service team with various tasks. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced automotive environment. Responsibilities and Qualifications Key Responsibilities Greet customers in the service drive and assist with vehicle intake as needed. Move customer vehicles to designated parking areas, service bays, or wash stations safely and efficiently. Retrieve vehicles for customer pickup and ensure they are clean and ready for delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service drive, parking lots, and dealership grounds. Assist technicians and service advisors with vehicle staging and shop flow. Perform basic vehicle inspections such as checking fuel levels, tire condition, and exterior condition. Support shuttle service operations when required. Help manage dealership loaner or rental vehicles, including inspecting for damage and refueling. Follow all dealership, OEM, and safety guidelines when handling vehicles and operating equipment. All other duties as assigned by leadership. Qualifications Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required. Must pass a pre-employment background and drug screen. Previous experience in an automotive, dealership, or customer-facing environment is an asset. Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles (training available if needed). Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and stay active throughout the shift. Excellent time management skills and the ability to adapt quickly in a busy service environment. Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and communication. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
