Depending on your skill level, certification, and production, our certified Service Technicians annual salaries range from $70,000 to $100,000 with highly productive certified master technicians earning even more.**Company and Service Department Overview:**Dalton Motors services Dalton Toyota National City, Dalton Hyundai National City and Dalton Subaru National City, and is located less than 20 minutes from most areas of San Diego. Founded in Guadalajara in 1945, Dalton Motors is a family owned and operated business with over 55 dealerships serving major manufacturers including Toyota, Hyundai, Subaru and others. They are continuing the legacy of Frank Motors, an automotive and community presence since 1965. Dalton Motors has a large and well stocked parts department and a Service Development Center (SDC) dedicated to setting and reminding customers of their service appointments. We have extremely knowledgeable and experienced service advisors who are highly productive and use to working in a fast-paced, customer friendly environment. We have ongoing training for our staff, including technician and service advisor/consultant training from the manufacturer, new product on-line training, and job specific training by our in-house trainer. Our service and parts areas run very smoothly in large part due to our solid processes and trained, skilled staff, many of whom have been at our stores for twenty years or more. **Dalton Motors Benefits:*** Full Benefits 1st of month after 60 days of employment including Health, Dental, & Vision Insurance* 401k Plan* Paid vacation* Paid manufacturer product training* Employee Assistance Program* Advancement opportunities* Custom tailored onboarding training programs* Fully certified Master Technicians qualify for Dalton’s exclusive “Cars for Techs” program.## Qualifications**Some of what you will do:*** Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles assigned to you* Inspect vehicles and report on vehicles condition and recommendations* Check vehicle history for previous repairs and prior recommendations* Document cause, cure, and correction statements for each operation on repair order* Document flag and clock time on each repair order* Check for open Recalls* Instill confidence in the customer using “Fix It Right the First Time” protocols* Partner with service advisors to ensure work is completed and done on time* Build parts quotes, part availability, and procure parts from the parts department as needed* Continue to develop your skills and certification through OEM training, on-line and in-house training, and OTJ experience* Lead, train, and motivate a group of technicians**What We Require**:* **Factory Master technician certification or ASE Master certification*** **Minimum** of a high school diploma or equivalent* Valid driver's license* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally* Outstanding customer service skills* Proficient Computer Skills* Professional work ethic and high integrity* Ability to work as a team and/or independently* Strong problem solving and follow up skills**Supplemental pay types**:* Production BonusAt Dalton Motors, we believe that a diverse workforce is a strength to be celebrated.
