About the Position

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an LDRP unit with 4 LDRP rooms, 1 triage room, and a well baby nursery at a 1:1 patient ratio
• Document and manage patient records using Cerner EMR
• Perform task floating within the hospital or to an affiliate facility as required, in accordance with client policies and Joint Commission standards
• Support mandatory floating for closed departments as needed
• Maintain compliance with all unit protocols, certification requirements, and scheduling expectations throughout the assignment

• Active New Mexico RN license or compact license - must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR required
• 2 professional references required
• No call required; every other weekend commitment expected
• All RTO must be submitted at time of initial submission; RTO will not be considered after the fact, and no RTO will be approved around holidays
• Candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility are considered local and are not eligible for this position

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Labor and Delivery or LDRP setting
• Experience working in a rural or critical access hospital environment
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR implemented in or after October 2022
