Job Description
Provide direct respiratory care to patients across all hospital units, including ICU, step-down, NICU, and PICU.
Perform respiratory procedures according to hospital policies and protocols.
Respond to Code Blue and Rapid Response events and provide emergency respiratory support.
Assess patients, monitor respiratory status, and communicate care recommendations to the healthcare team.
Complete timely and accurate documentation and participate in departmental education and meetings.
Perform specialized procedures such as Pulmonary Function Tests, Methacholine Challenges, Hyperbaric Medicine, and Asthma Education as trained.
Manage approximately 8 ventilated patients in unit assignments and cover 3–4 floors for floor assignments.
Perform approximately 2–3 intrahospital transports (CT, MRI, Specials) per shift.
Schedule: No call; every other weekend.
Requirements: RRT, BLS, ACLS, PALS.
Equipment: Servo-i ventilators, V60 BiPAP, i-STAT ABG analyzer.
Della Infotech Inc Job ID #18632. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
