Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!This role is part of Blue Origin corporate functions, providing centralized support across Blue Origin business unit teams, functions, and locations.Position OverviewThe Talent Acquisition Compliance Specialist will serve as a subject matter expert ensuring Blue Origin's recruiting practices align with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. This role partners closely with Talent Acquisition, Legal, and HR teams to maintain compliant and efficient hiring processes.This role is a Fixed-Term Contract role for 12 monthsRelocation is not provided for this roleKey ResponsibilitiesMonitor and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local hiring regulations including OFCCP, EEOC, VEVRAA, Section 503, and ADAConduct regular audits of applicant tracking data, job postings, and hiring decisions to identify compliance gapsServe as the primary point of contact for OFCCP audits and inquiries, coordinating documentation and responsesProactively identify gaps in existing Talent Acquisition policies and procedures and develop, write, and implement policies to address those gapsRegularly review and update existing policies to reflect changes in applicable laws, regulations, and business needsDevelop, update, and deliver compliance training for recruiters and hiring managersManage I-9 and E-Verify processes, ensuring accuracy and timely completionOversee compliance requirements related to government contracts and security clearancesMaintain accurate records and documentation in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)Partner with Legal to interpret new or changing employment legislation and implement process updatesAnalyze recruitment data and prepare compliance reports for leadershipAdvise on background check processes, ban-the-box laws, and state-specific requirementsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or related field3+ years of experience in HR compliance, talent acquisition, or a related roleWorking knowledge of OFCCP regulations, EEOC guidelines, and VEVRAAExperience with I-9 administration and E-VerifyFamiliarity with federal contractor compliance requirementsDemonstrated experience writing and implementing HR or compliance policiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh attention to detail and organizational skillsPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of ITAR and export control compliance as it relates to hiringProficiency with Workday ATS and HRIS systemExperience in aerospace, defense, or government contracting industriesExperience managing OFCCP auditsProfessional certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or related compliance certificationFamiliarity with multi-state compliance requirementsBase Pay Range for:CO applicants is $123,611.00 - $173,054.70WA applicants is $134,434.00 - $188,207.25Other site ranges may differCulture StatementDon’t meet all desired requirements?
