Registered Nurse Emergency Department

Location: Utica, New York

Pay Rate: $60/hr to $62/hr

Contract: 13 weeks

Schedule: Evening Shift, 10:30 AM - 11:00 PM

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Experience: Minimum 3 years required

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a 13-week evening-shift contract opportunity in Utica, New York. This role supports a high-acuity emergency department caring for newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients with conditions such as stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure.

Responsibilities
• Provide emergency nursing care for patients across all age groups
• Manage high-acuity ED cases including trauma, stroke, sepsis, cardiac, and respiratory emergencies
• Administer critical drips and medications such as pressors, vasodilators, anti-arrhythmics, sedation, TNK, heparin, and insulin
• Use specialty ED equipment including rapid infusor and Arctic Sun
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC and float as required

Requirements
• Active New York Registered Nurse License Required
• Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department experience required, including some pediatric experience
• AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, And TNCC Certifications Required
• EPIC experience and previous travel experience required
• Skills checklist, driver's license, NURSYS report, active RN license verification, and RTO required at submission
