Manager, Commercial Accounting

Mineralys Therapeutics seeks a Manager of Commercial Accounting to oversee revenue, inventory, gross-to-net reserves, and accounts receivable activities for a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company. The role involves month-end close processes, ASC 606 compliance, and collaboration with commercial and supply chain partners to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly close processes for product revenue, reserves, and commercial accounting activities
• Prepare and reconcile journal entries, account balances, and supporting schedules for revenue accounts
• Oversee inventory accounting including valuation, reserves, and reconciliations with 3PLs
• Calculate and maintain gross-to-net reserves for rebates, chargebacks, returns, and copay programs
• Serve as primary accounting liaison with distributors and logistics providers on order-to-cash processes

Requirements

• Experience managing revenue accounting and ASC 606 compliance
• Knowledge of inventory valuation, cost accounting, and physical inventory reconciliation
• Understanding of gross-to-net reserve calculations and commercial deductions
• Experience with third-party logistics provider (3PL) and distributor account management
• Month-end close and financial statement preparation experience
• Strong analytical and process improvement capabilities
